Saucepan Brownies
1/2 c. butter Heat oven to 350°. Spray 13 x 9 " pan with PAM. Heat butter with 1 c. chocolate chips in a 3 quart saucepan over low heat, stirring often until melted. Stir in Sucanat (honey), and eggs. Then add flour, vanilla, baking powder and salt. Stir until smooth. Spread in non-stick sprayed pan and sprinkle with chips ( and nuts) if desired. Bake until center is set, about 20-25 minutes. Cool completely to cutting. To quote a friend, "These are to die for brownies!" (And SO easy!) |
